I was attempting to update the driver for my Ryzen 77735HS CPU on the AMD website and selected Windows 11. Once I accepted some settings, the system prompted me to restart. After powering it on, the brand logo appeared but displayed a black screen. Waiting roughly ten minutes, I restarted again but it didn’t resolve the issue. I tried booting in safe mode to address the update problem, hoping the issue stemmed from that. However, without a previous restore point, I attempted a full PC reset and saved my files. Even after completing the reset, Windows failed to load, leaving me with a black screen once more and no clear guidance on next steps.

I believe you're referring to a chipset driver. The CPU doesn't require drivers itself. It's usually safest to perform a clean Windows installation if the PC resets and it doesn't work. Keep in mind this process will erase your drive, so back up your files to another device if possible. During the clean install, only add drivers from your laptop's official support page for your model (search for your laptop's make and model on Google). Save these onto a USB drive from a different machine so you're prepared.

I completed the installation successfully, but it restarted and displayed a black screen once more. Safe mode is no longer accessible.
