I upgraded my motherboard to a 5600X and updated its BIOS. The system should now support the new 5000 series chips. After installation, I booted into the BIOS without using the delete key, but it won’t start Windows. Exiting the BIOS brings me back quickly to the same screen. Removing the HDD and connecting only the M.2 SSD didn’t help. The BIOS confirms the 5600X is present. Reinstalling the old CPU resolves the issue completely. Is there a problem with the chip or should I wait for another BIOS update?
