I have my flash drive in, I install Windows onto it, then it forces a restart but doesn’t let me boot into Windows—it brings me back to the installer. After installation, unplugging the drive makes me go directly into BIOS instead of accessing Windows, even though the download was completed.

Check if the drive's windows are damaged and see if launching in safe mode resolves the issue.

I developed it using the official Windows installation media. You should be able to reach the Windows login and privacy settings menu once you’ve connected the drive. If you have several drives, try disconnecting all but the one you used to install the OS.

Verify your boot sequence? The drive seems to be missing from the selection for startup.
