I've reviewed the system details and noticed Windows is running in Legacy mode. I assumed it was UEFI, so I planned a fresh installation (I don't want UEFI for W11). I attempted both Rufus and the Windows Installation Media Tool to create a Windows 10 Pro USB, but both failed—crashes appeared with the motherboard display flickering and no progress. I can access the USB if I boot it in Legacy mode, but the Linux installer also stopped working. There was a previous issue with Windows installed as UEFI on an older SATA SSD (using an Asus board and CPU I replaced). My hardware specs are: Ryzen 5 3600, MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max, R9 390 GPU, and an M.2 Kingston A2000 500GB drive. I've tried using the default BIOS, placed the USB in the 2.0 port, and disabled Secure Boot. The stick feels worn out and old, possibly causing the problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
