I updated my system and combined my old SSD and hard drive into it. Suddenly, the network adapter isn’t recognized. My Ethernet cable is connected and that’s not the issue. I don’t have another laptop or PC to connect to, and I can’t browse the web. What should I do?

I attempted a network reset. The motherboard I'm using is the MSI MAG Z790 EDGE WIFI DDR4.

New board interface might require a different driver than your current setup. In the meantime, a USB Wi-Fi adapter could help you access the right driver if no alternatives exist. Tip: Fresh installation is often best—older versions may not work perfectly on another system. Sometimes it just happens. Edited Dec 31, 2022 by An0maly_76 Updated with more details
