Windows Explorer is running at 90% CPU usage.
I recently reinstalled Windows using a bootable USB drive, but Windows Explorer is consuming about 90% CPU all the time. Restarting the task doesn’t improve the situation. I disabled internet access and the CPU usage returned to normal.
I believe it might be related to creating a bootable USB drive. I also experienced this problem, thinking it was due to my computer's performance. It could actually depend more on the disk's write speed than your CPU speed. Computers behave strangely sometimes.
