I recently reinstalled my PC, hoping to remove unwanted files, but performance hasn’t returned to its previous level. I’m trying to figure out if these problems are connected or separate. Here are the main issues I’ve noticed: 1) Opening or browsing Explorer takes about 0.25-0.5 seconds and feels sluggish compared to before the reset. 2) Chrome becomes unstable—pages shift awkwardly, and moving tabs to a second monitor causes noticeable lag before appearing. 3) When I scroll over videos in Chrome, they become extremely choppy for a few seconds, making them hard to watch. 4) After installing League of Legends, the game runs slowly despite having a powerful system (7700k GTX, 1080p, 480GB SSD). I’m looking for possible solutions.

It seems the problem might be related to a driver. I’d verify if all drivers were installed after updating Windows. If not, it could be a reinstallation issue, or drivers themselves might be the cause.

Perform a fresh setup instead of a reset. Ensure all partitions are removed at that stage, leaving just one drive connected during installation.
