Hey everyone, I just reinstalled Windows and noticed that Asus ArmoryCrate doesn’t detect my motherboard anymore—it shows up as Z790 TUF Gaming-Plus WIFI D4. Even after updating the BIOS to the latest version, it still doesn’t recognize me. In the BIOS settings, it lists the model as Z790 TUF Gaming-Plus WIFI D4. Could someone help? Thanks, FALL1N

It's not a big problem since the motherboard isn't required to be identified in the armory crate for the device to operate

Here you are: https://www.asus.com/support/ https://support.microsoft.com/en-us Both offering paid and closed-source support, which is roughly the extent of my willingness to assist for free.

Updating the program or app could fix the identification issue if your system is using an outdated version. I've noticed similar problems on the driver or utility disc of a machine's board, so verify whether an updated version exists for your setup. Yes, Asus products can exhibit this behavior. The quoted comment remains accurate as long as the software functions properly.

It seems the Asus Utility doesn't have any tools for identifying motherboard updates. Only the BIOS update was completed successfully. Installing Asus AISuite triggers this warning.

Visit the Asus website and navigate to "Utilities." It might appear in a different section like "Category," but you'll need to start with the board name. The update isn't about your board or BIOS—it's about installing the latest version of Asus AISuite. Get it, install it, and check its functionality.

I've attempted to set up the newest version, yet a few other updates didn't work either.
