I've faced a peculiar issue where my disk appears only in Task Manager and Device Manager, showing up as Disk 8 with a mount point listed. Device Manager confirms its presence, but File Explorer and Disk Management say it doesn't exist. I've even tried rebooting without any luck. No one seems to have shared solutions online.
I don’t understand how it works, but here’s what you should do: disable the device in Device Manager, reboot the computer, enable it again, and then it should appear now!
