I understand you can configure a network using the command prompt, but this method creates a 2.4GHz connection. Can you try adjusting the settings or using a different approach to achieve a 5GHz network? Your device supports 802.11n, which is compatible with higher frequencies.

The card doesn't work with 5GHz frequency, that's why you're asking.

The device originally runs at 2.4 GHz, so you must upgrade the card for dual-band support to achieve 5.0 GHz performance.

You'll require a card that supports two frequency bands.

Before my family installed Ethernet, I had to connect it for internet access. Now it remains just in my room. I considered setting it up as a personal 5GHz wireless network. Thanks for your assistance—I hope it stays unused.

I also face the same issue. My card supports dual-band as well. Realtek 8812bu.
