I completed assembling my PC a few weeks back, and occasionally while playing a game it freezes, the screen turns black briefly, then displays again for a moment. This cycle repeats several times, followed by blue screens of death. It has occurred multiple times over the past three to four days. I suspect an issue with the GPU overclocking, though I’m not certain.

First I’d shut down all the overclocking settings and check if the issue persists. Edited August 16, 2017 by firelighter487 (spelled a word wrong...)

I'll attempt it again to check if the result remains consistent.

Your CPU overclock isn't running smoothly.
