I wanted to discuss this situation here to check if others have faced similar issues or have suggestions. I'm really struggling. Recently, my PC keeps showing a bunch of blue screen errors. Usually it's something like SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, or UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION. The toughest part is the "Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation" message in Event Viewer, with no logs or files. The system freezes in the same pattern—like loading a game, opening an app, or installing software. A window will freeze, then my mouse will stop responding after a short delay. Eventually, I hit the blue screen and the PC freezes completely at 0% while handling the exception.

At first, I thought it was a faulty power supply after replacing my RAM and SSD. I sent the PSU back to service (Cooler Master V850) and it resolved. But it started again months later, so I returned it again. Eventually, I sold the new PSU on eBay and bought a replacement Corsair one. It stopped working again. Now the errors are coming back, making me suspect a problem with my motherboard or CPU memory controller. Shouldn't my PC be handling power supplies correctly?

My current specs are: Intel i9 12900K, MSI RTX 4090, 1000W Corsair SFX PSU, 32GB Corsair CL16 DDR4 1TB WD Black SSD.

I've tried: reinstalling Windows, running MemTest86, updating BIOS, factory resetting, replacing PSU, swapping RAM, changing SSD slots, re-seating GPU and CPU, enabling driver verifier, and experimenting with different dump file methods.

I think it’s likely a failing mobile device, but it’s wise to perform a CHKDSK on your operating system drive.

Man mobo is a serial killer specializing in hardware. A lot of faith in mobo, but hopefully that's not the truth. If it were SSD, he'd likely have faced corrupted files.

I replaced the SSDs I had before and now use a fresh Windows install, so it seems the problem isn’t with the drive.
