I considered an H series but found the model I was eyeing is reasonably priced and actually cheaper than the H version. I planned to use a 250gb SSD, though I thought you just needed an SSD for your most-used items with the rest on an HDD. For OS 8.1 and 7 the prices matched, while version 10 was about $4 more.

Avoid Seagate drives—they’re really low quality. Opt for WD Black or Blue instead; only choose Green if you’re just storing things like photos, videos, and documents.

I'm familiar with OS 7 and 8.1, but 10 feels more suited for tablets. Right now it's around 7 out of 10.
