Windows boot manager crashes after update
The laptop originally came with Windows 7, but after upgrading to Windows 8.1 Pro, it functioned well for several years. Recently, I attempted to restore MS Store functionality, but it triggered Windows Update repeatedly. After a shutdown and reopening, the device stopped working. However, this issue only appears in Fast Mode (the default OS selection), while the standard OS remains stable. Frequent blue screens occur during gaming, a problem not present in Fast Mode. Someone can assist with resolving this (please check the attached picture).
Attempt to rebuild the BCD by launching System Repair, then enter the command prompt and run bootrec/rebuildbcd. If this fails, consider reinstalling Windows.
