Hello
I’m checking if it’s feasible to move the Windows Boot Manager from your D drive to your C drive. I have Windows set up on both drives, but I need the D drive for my laptop. When I remove the D drive, it won’t boot and displays a message indicating the Boot Manager is missing.

Yes, you are completely capable of doing this.
Discover how to relocate the Windows boot partition to a different storage device in Windows 11/10/8/7.
Adhere to the instructions below to transfer the Windows boot partition without reinstalling the operating system at this time.

It is strongly advised to remove the D drive and perform a fresh installation of Windows on the main drive, as recreating the boot partition from an existing one may still lead to configuration mismatches. You can attempt it, but a clean install with only two connected drives—installing to and from those—is the safest approach for long-term stability.

I'll attempt to relocate the boot disk manager to the C drive, mainly because I'd need my nephew to reinstall all his games—he plays quite a few. If that doesn't work, I'll proceed with a clean install on that drive, just needing to redownload some of his games.
My D drive is an old NVME storage device I previously used, but I let it fall into disuse and repurposed it for installing games and other stuff.
Your advice was really useful. I truly value your assistance and appreciate your help!
