Windows Based VMWare OS
Windows Based VMWare OS
Hey everyone, would love some help crafting a streamlined Windows version that runs virtual machines by layering the interface over VMware or VirtualBox. A lighter build focusing mainly on those virtual environments rather than the full desktop. When you power on, you could pick your desired OS through the set up of VMs. I’ve been interested in virtualization a lot and would appreciate a simpler take—just enough VM support to run various operating systems. No coding required, just an idea. Anyone have experience with something similar? Hope someone can share a version or guide! Thanks.
Skip the Micropenis Winblows; there are robust OS options that operate solely in virtual environments. XenServer, VMware ESXi, ProxMox VE, etc., can all be controlled via a dedicated management interface or web-based GUI. If you must rely on Windows, Hyper-V offers a solution—works with any Pro version and includes a free Hyper-V Server edition for PC installation. It provides command-line access, meaning management happens on another Windows Pro machine.
