Windows backup feature is turned off yet continues attempting to save data, consistently resulting in failure.
My mom bought a 2 TB external drive and connected it. She began using W10's Windows 7 Backup. When I discovered what she was doing, I told her she didn’t need that large drive for her small amount of data, so she returned the drive. I helped her set up backup or sync her files to the cloud. The following morning she mentioned receiving an error in the bottom right corner of her laptop: "The backup path does not exist. Please check the backup path and retry." The program would automatically retry after a few seconds. I chose to cancel it. She later told me she still got the same error. I checked the schedule settings, confirmed they were off, and even disabled Windows Backup completely. After rebooting, the issue persisted. How could this happen? Mike
