I removed the hard drive from my MacBook to use it on my main computer without opening it up each time. I expected a simple connection, but realized the drive formats don’t match (Windows uses NTFS while Mac uses macOS formats). I’m trying to figure out how to make Windows read it. I also attempted to detach all drives and boot from the Mac drive, but the motherboard doesn’t recognize it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Several options allow you to install HFS+ on Windows. One example is available at the provided link.

Yes, there are options available. Free and dependable methods exist, though Paragon needs a license after ten days.

Consider launching Windows directly or try TeamViewer. MacOS often poses challenges with non-Apple devices.
