I'm discussing the item here: http://www.amazon.com/Windows-8-1-System-Builder-64-Bit... I purchased a Windows 8.1 System Builder OEM copy from Amazon.com today. I checked the OEM licensing details to find relevant links: http://www.microsoft.com/oem/en/licensing/sblicensing/P... and http://www.howtogeek.com/197232/microsoft-is-misleading... These sources indicate that personal use is restricted, and the product is intended only for preinstallation on a resale machine. I read reviews before buying, mostly focusing on opinions about Windows 8.1, with most one-star comments highlighting its complexity. I didn't notice the licensing changes when reviewing the description. Should I be concerned? Does this version still function properly? Note: This information came from a post on another forum. I need a quick answer.

~ No problem, everything should function properly. MS doesn't mind using an OEM license on your personal computer. Just keep in mind it's tied to your motherboard and might only move if you swap it out for a replacement of the same exact model, as outlined in the EULA.
