My device is experiencing some unusual problems, and I’m struggling to find the fix. I’m using Windows 8.1 Pro, and my system clock seems completely off. As shown in this photo, my uptime appears to be over five days, which doesn’t match the fact that I powered it back on less than ten minutes before taking the screenshot of Task Manager. When I run the command 'systeminfo | findstr /C:"System Boot Time"' in the Command Prompt, it says my machine last booted on October 30 at 3:20 PM, which contradicts my recent shutdown and restart this morning (November 5). It’s not a major issue, but it feels strange. Could anyone suggest a solution? Thanks.

In 8 and 10 updates, PCs adjust their shutdown process. The user kernel stops working while the system kernel remains active, which makes closing faster and starting quicker. Restarting clears everything completely.

Sure thing. It's clear now. I used to play on Windows 7 and didn't realize it until later. Appreciate the clarification.
