I understand I've mentioned this before, but it matters to me. There are built-in security measures in Windows 8.1, but you should always stay vigilant. I intend to install Avast! Free unless a more expensive antivirus is available, and I’ll also buy Malwarebytes.
With Security Essentials integrated, adding Malwarebytes is a good idea. It seems to suit most safe users well.
