Okay guys, this is kinda awkward... I just got my laptop back from RMA, fired it up, checked if everything was good and shut it back down. When I started it for the second time it asked me to reactivate windows which I tried, but it failed with some dubious error code. Now, premiere moment, windows support site actually helped and told me that there has to be something wrong with my date and time settings. Since I haven't worked much with it, I hadn't realized yet, but true, current time set is 9:12 AM on the 24/05/2099.... Huh Alright, not a big deal, just click that "adjust time automatically" checkbox and we're golden, right? Nope. Shows a busy notification for some time and fails. Okay, simple, just set the time manually, you say. Yeah. well... Things get a bit weird here. Friday, 13th of November is no big deal, but the only possible selection in that date selector ranges from 2069 to 2076, no free / manual entry possible. So... Yeah. Anybody got any insight? The device in question is a Zenbook and I should have a Recovery Thumb drive, though that is pre-RMA and I am not exactly sure what they've done (thínk they replaced the MoBo for the second time, though I have no idea why they did that.) TBH I just want to create a fresh recovery drive and update to Windows 10. Best regards Chris

The window support tips surprised me, but I realized there are many options for adjusting dates and times. It functioned properly with the right configurations. Still, it’s worth noting that Windows 8 and the new "Computer Settings" menu aren’t reliable.
