I just observed an issue with my file explorer. When I attempt to right-click on a folder in the left panel, it crashes or closes, and my task bar disappears. It comes back briefly but the explorer remains closed. I've restarted my computer several times without resolving it. Could anyone suggest a solution? Thanks!

I aim to retain your items, but deleting everything is possible if you confirm.

I fixed it today after borrowing my friends' external disc reader/burner and fixing the windows. The issue disappeared as long as the disc was in the reader and connected to my computer. Now that the disc isn't in the reader and isn't connected, I'm experiencing the same problems again.
