Hello, I'm facing an issue with my Windows 8.1 startup. It enters the spinning circle but freezes, and restarting helps. Anyone have suggestions or solutions? It's really frustrating.

Really, there are plenty of potential problems behind the scenes—settings, compatibility, programs, malware, bugs. If you can't fix it, reinstalling Windows might be the best solution, though I'm not an expert. I encountered an issue with "the whirling circle" recently; my computer would shut down immediately after turning it on, not just restart. After reinstalling, I disabled hybrid boot in Power Options and it worked. That was the only problem I had with starting Windows 8.1.
