I set up Star Citizen recently and noticed my computer would restart several times after launching. It would reboot quickly—about 5 to 6 seconds—once Windows started. My PC had been formatted multiple times (7 to 9), but I kept running into issues like irql_not_less_or_equal and a kernel mode exception that wasn’t handled, each once. When I was in the Metro UI and then switched to Desktop, the computer would restart again at the window color selection point. I reset my overclock settings and everything returned to normal, but nothing changed afterward. I searched online for these problems but didn’t find any solutions. What should I do? My system details: motherboard Sabertooth 990FX, CPU FX-8300, GPU R9-290X, two-way crossfire SSD, Kingstone 256GB, PSU Corsair RM1000. I also mentioned pulling out my hard drive, but that didn’t help.

Try setup on a single GPU using an HDD reseat CPU cooler. If needed, ensure you have a working installation media.

I attempted it again but the same issue occurred. I also tried another Windows installation, yet the problem persisted. What alternative options are available? Note that after entering your password, the computer restarts.
