I was cleaning my keyboard and touch pad while my laptop was on (yes I know I shouldn't do that) and pretty much some random clicking happened and this desktop thing is on the lower right on my task bar. Here's a pic How to get it to go away?

Check if W8.1 matches W7. Follow these steps: Right click on the taskbar, select Toolbars, then choose "Desktop".
