When attempting to set up pirated or free versions, complications frequently arise. Naturally, I downloaded them just to test my comfort level before considering a purchase. In Windows 8.1, launching Internet Explorer for downloads such as drivers or Chrome often triggers the message "IE.exe has stopped working" without closing, eventually crashing completely until the browser becomes unusable. At that stage, I resort to installing Chrome from a USB drive containing apps and drivers, only to discover each new app warns it’s incompatible with this Windows version—despite prior assurances of compatibility. Every ten minutes, random BSODs appear, likely related to the system’s paging file, which I’ve previously resolved but still causes further crashes. It typically takes around two hours and about fifteen BSODs before I revert to Windows 7. In Windows 10, the situation is even worse; after a quick launch, opening Edge or another app takes minutes, and I suspect a similar problem persists. After reinstalling, I encounter a pop-up stating my system isn’t compatible at around 99% completion, though I’m certain it’s not true. Later, when trying Windows 10 again, I face a BSOD during installation, leading me to abandon the process. The following day, I reinstall Windows 7, which functions flawlessly—except for occasional issues like Dota 2 or CS:GO not launching due to VAC restrictions. Even after a full format and reinstall, strange problems linger. Persistent issues remain even after reformatting, and I’m left wondering if a virus might be embedded in the BIOS or if something is truly corrupting my system. I’ve avoided BSODs on Windows 7 for years, yet they now occur regularly on both 8.1 and 10. There are also lingering concerns about compatibility with other OS versions despite complete reformats. What could possibly explain these ongoing difficulties?

We don’t assist with pirated programs. Regrettably, there are too many altered versions of Windows and other applications that cause issues with the operating system. Our focus should be on more productive tasks instead of dealing with broken software that can't be repaired. There’s no valid reason or justification for piracy. Windows offers a trial version you can try.

You mentioned "free copies" and asked about your origin—what planet are you from?
