I'm not sure if the issue lies with hardware or software. When I power on my PC from sleep or shut it down completely, sometimes it logs me in but then freezes on the desktop. I can move the mouse, but no programs open and I can't turn it off. I've reinstalled Windows completely, yet the problem persists. After a few restarts, it works fine with no further issues. I checked CPU usage and everything seems normal.

Details:
- OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64Bit 128GB
- Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Basic, 2.5" S (boot drive) 1TB WD Blue WD10EZEX SATA III 6GB/s 8GB
- RAM: 2x4GB Corsair DDR3 Vengeance MSI Z97 GAMING
- GPU: Intel Core i5 4690K S1150, Haswell
- Accessories: Twin FrozrV 650W Corsair CS650M
- Case: MSI GTX 960 GAMING

Did you rely on KMSPico to start your Windows or opt for a torrented alternative? I’m aware there’s a version of KMSpico that does both, right? KMSpico automatically launches your Windows each time you log in.

I noticed the issue repeatedly after asking myself, searched extensively online, and luckily discovered the CPU temperature was the cause. This should assist anyone facing the same problem.
