You're experiencing performance issues despite having a decent setup. It's possible the software or drivers are causing the freeze. Reinstalling the operating system could resolve compatibility or stability problems.

Start by removing the active disk and then reinstall it.

Could you provide more details about the freezing? Also, have you completed a malware check and looked into CPU activity?

Occasionally, certain tasks consume a lot of resources. Check what’s using the most power, end those processes, restart them, or just let them finish. The icons usually show blue boxes with gears or long names. This happened earlier today; after waiting, everything returned to normal speed.

If you prefer not to reinstall, run a clean startup scan using Avast Boot Time Check or use MSConfig Cleaner Antivirus. These are just suggestions.

Here’s a clearer version:
Starting up this way isn’t ideal—it should only be considered as a final option. @OP, could you share more details? What actions are you taking when it freezes? How often does this happen? Please also provide the complete specification list.

Lol yeah, if Windows acts weird it might be a driver or hardware problem. A fresh install can bring in new drivers and fixes. If you're not keen, reinstalling is the simplest way to clear out old stuff. UnstableAdrian, have you tried tools like memtest to test your RAM or removing RAM/other parts to check if something’s faulty? You should try to be as specific as possible.
