The chances of success are similar to what you’d expect on a fresh Windows 7 installation... And they drop further with each update and using registry cleaning tools (though Placebo uselessware doesn’t help much).
I understand the concerns about operating system security being at risk from hackers. I’d really like to just have a backup. I’ve installed many programs and games across more than 4 terabytes, which would be incredibly time-consuming.
