Aim for a win of ten, relax—Cortana won’t be using the CPU. Install your Windows version for the different region, and you’ll never encounter Cortana again.

You're correct about using Windows 7, though some applications might need Windows 10. It's best to install Windows 7 along with a compatible program version.

The majority of programs remain compatible with Windows 7. "Many" Current titles continue to function well too. Without the software I rely on regularly, I might still be using Windows 7 even if performance had improved on Windows 10.

I haven't encountered any Win10-only applications before.

The kernel remains consistent, Win 10 works as a modified version of Win 7, and you can still reach certain features in Win 7, like the control panel.

According to common understanding, only UWP applications are supported on W10.

Are you kidding? Do you actually think that makes a difference? That's because there's other OS stuff being done in the background under the cortana label.

Sure thing! Let's keep things clear.
I was considering helpful tools instead of options that are strictly controlled by Microsoft.

You can still run Windows 7 today, though it’s not recommended. It works if you keep the system offline. For older applications, especially certain games, it functions adequately. Newer versions don’t support it well, and virtual machines also don’t perform properly.
