Since my chromebook only has 16GB of storage, I’d prefer to install Windows 7 Starter, which uses minimal space.

If you manage to get the laptop BIOS to communicate with Windows 7, it might work, but it could be quite complicated due to the limited capabilities of that Chromebook. Linux would likely be a better option if you're looking for an alternative operating system. Edited April 20, 2021 by SorryClaire I spent about five minutes figuring out why I mixed up a Chromebook and a MacBook.
