Hey there. I recently purchased a Black MacBook (A1181) at a discount for someone who believed it was obsolete. It turned out the charger and battery were defective, but after swapping them out, everything functioned perfectly. I own a laptop that I carry with me for work, but I’m looking for something more compact to keep in my backpack. This MacBook seems ideal. I’ve installed Windows 7 on several Intel MacBooks before without any problems. The one I have now is unique. When I connect a bootable USB and press Option while booting, it only displays HDD partitions. During Bootcamp, it starts but then reports it couldn’t locate the install disc or something similar. I’ve tried both USB flash drives and DVDs, but neither worked. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
