From the Windows 7 Wiki: Mainstream assistance stopped on 13 January 2015. Additional support lasts until 14 January 2020. Yes, Windows 7 is considered outdated and no longer receives updates.

Windows 7 doesn't support DirectX12. Plus, there are other issues. It's a tough situation.

It was disappointing. My main concern was getting help with drivers and software. When you receive new hardware or updates, you often face challenges making it work on Windows 7. That's what happened to me.

Sure, I’ll stick with Windows 10. It’s still the go-to choice, even though it can be tough finding updates and support for newer hardware. Avoiding older systems like Windows 8 is definitely a better option.
