Hello everyone, I've been struggling to set up Windows 7 on my current machine. I'm unsure why it's not working and want to try installing it despite the specs: Asus Prime A320-K with AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, GTX 1050Ti, 16GB DDR4 memory, and a 1TB SSD. I suspect the issue might be related to missing drivers on my motherboard. If that's the case, where can I find the appropriate ones? When I attempt to run an installer, I encounter the error code 0x000000A5, which indicates the BIOS isn't fully compatible. Thanks for your help!

Do you possess a UEFI BIOS? Turn off UEFI and revert to legacy mode, ensuring the legacy option ROMs are activated as well.

It seems unlikely to run Windows 7 on a Ryzen 3000 processor without altering the installation files.

But that's why? You'll face a tough ride with Windows until it's all set up. If not, it might happen during the installation process.

I own a program for Windows 7 just because it brings back memories.

Grab the Intel Core 2 Quad and finish the job, it’s not worth the hassle of switching to new gear
