You have a HDD with a Windows 7 copy, originally bought from a friend for 10€. There’s no official way to retrieve the license or key directly from the drive itself. However, you can try reinstalling Windows 7 using a bootable USB or a recovery media if you want to restore it later.
I don't think that's correct, even if you attempt to run the hard drive with the operating system on another PC, you'll still need to reactivate it.
