Hey everyone, just installed a new CPU and GPU. Now I’m running into a problem where Windows crashes during the animation of the four balls that form the logo. After that, it asks me to run the Windows Repair Tool, but it claims everything is fine.

Changing the motherboard, CPU, and GPU without reinstalling Windows often causes issues. It may not work with another Windows setup, so you'll have to format the drive and start fresh.

For a CPU, motherboard, and GPU upgrade, you must reinstall Windows.

Win7 sadly doesn't like mobo changes. You really need to reinstall. Repair won't do any good, unless you somehow can access device manager and clear all drivers. But still full reinstall will be better. There's no guarantee that it will work even after you have removed all drivers.
