Hi, you've set up Windows 7 on your MacBook, but the battery icon shows it's connected even when you're using it off the power. When you plug it in, it charges properly, but when you remove it, the icon stays off. You've tried removing the ACPI-compliant battery control method, but it didn't help. Could you share more details or try a different troubleshooting approach?

I'm fairly confident the issue isn't impacting your workflow. However, if it truly is, a solution like a Windows repair or reinstall might resolve it.

I understand it isn't really impacting me, but it's just bothersome. I'll attempt a Windows repair. Thanks.
