You're facing persistent issues updating Windows 7 on your new PC. The error you're encountering suggests a possible software or configuration problem rather than a hardware fault.

It seems like your Windows might be a copied or low-quality version. Did you get it brand new in the package or from a small store?

If the issue persists after a fresh Windows setup, consider using a different installation source.

Don't take it from Piracy Bay, get it from me. Just a little fee of 20 dollars.

He claimed he purchased a PC running Windows 7. Everyone seems to be questioning how he obtained it illegally. OP, consider using a different DVD for setup (burn one if necessary) or try the USB installation. If that fails, ensure only the keyboard and mouse are connected, reinstall (possibly starting with Ubuntu over the drive first), then update in small steps—5 to 6 updates at a time. I faced this issue and Microsoft Support repeatedly directed me back to the same page despite my attempts. When you reach the problematic update, restart the computer and perform just that one update. Isolated from other changes. You can attempt the process without reinstalling; it might work for you.

It's an original equipment manufacturer version of Windows 7 because my computer was built from scratch. I think this isn't considered piracy.
