I’m more familiar with Windows, so I thought about putting Windows on the Macbook I received (it’s for travel). It’s a Macbook Air from mid-2012 with 4GB RAM and a 240GB SSD.

Windows isn't sure about its environment, so it wouldn't be a good choice for a system with just 4GB of memory.

Same amount works just fine, but the system is slow on a 4GB RAM.

Yeah, well, it's okay. I wasn't really into getting comfortable with mac, and I don't have much time for it.

This applies to the operating system, yet once you launch a contemporary web browser everything changes.

Back then, I thought version 10 was quicker than 7, but it was much more clunky and harder to use.

Windows 7 was taken out of support three years back, and I wouldn't rely on it for any practical situation now.
