Hey there! Building a new rig means cleaning the SSD and HDDs after saving important data, then putting it all together from scratch. From what I've noticed in Windows 8.1, things don't seem very impressive. Looking at the design, it feels more like moving away from Windows 7. Compared to Windows 10, I'm feeling quite positive so far. I prefer work-focused tweaks and would really like to use it right from the start because I dislike juggling multiple operating systems. To put it simply, I'm used to hard-themed Windows setups, like this one: http://www.deviantart.com/art/Planispher...-353625293. Could anyone who's into similar projects let me know how long it usually takes on Windows 8.1 to release updates for these kinds of mods? Also, I'm curious about how smoothly you can upgrade from a demo version to the full version, and how much time most common software needs to be updated to work with it. I have to choose Windows 10 anyway if DirectX 12 is available, so why would I waste time customizing an OS that might get easily surpassed by Windows 10 on newer systems?
