I tested Nt351 and 4 on the DEC Alpha with servers. That setup really handled low-traffic apps well. NT 3.51 on quad Pentium processors was powerful for complex setups like Citrix or Domino servers. Microsoft introduced some innovative concepts, especially after collaborating with IBM. They later shifted focus to Intel’s Itanium line based on marketing pressure, which wasn’t ideal for server use. It would have been better to maintain MIPS/RISC support instead of getting bogged down by outdated technologies like hyperthreading.

I haven't had a chance to use Windows 2000 much, so I can't give specific advice about it. We moved from 98SE to XP, then to Win7, and I still believe XP and Win7 are better than Windows 10. My daughter is happy we managed to install Win7 on her Ryzen 5 3600 with an Asus B450m-a board, and it's been running smoothly for two months without any issues. On the other hand, my system has stopped working completely.

You need to set up Windows 2000 on your Lenovo L520. The bluescreen suggests compatibility issues, but since it works fine with XP and the original CD, try reinstalling the OS from a clean media. If drivers still fail, check for hidden system files or use a bootable USB to test installation separately.

Hey there! Just wanted to say everything was working smoothly so far—still got that win. The 98 install on the old Pentium ran perfectly, and it feels pretty responsive these days.
