Windows 11 limits most features, leaving users with three paths: continue using older versions with third-party fixes, upgrade to new hardware for Windows 11, or move to another OS. Many prefer Linux due to its flexibility across devices, though it poses challenges for those accustomed to Windows. ReactOS offers a lightweight alternative but remains incomplete and relies on community support. The ideal choice depends on individual needs and willingness to adapt. What are your thoughts?

Alternatively, choose option 4; simply set up Windows 11 on your unsupported device and accept the "reduced user experience" that Microsoft advertises?

I'm curious about what "lesser user experience" entails. Will it keep displaying warnings like "Your device is outdated, buy a new one" and cause the desktop to go dark in the way older Windows activation systems did?

This won't occur, particularly with ReactOS.

I have no doubt that a lot of people will stay with their current OS.

I aim to elevate my Manjaro KDE experience, focusing on avoiding common issues like Adobe-related problems.

I’d prefer the server edition if I were using Windows 11. The bulk of the features in the consumer versions are removed in the server versions.
