I just switched to Windows 11 and my headset and mic behave oddly. They keep linking and unlinking quickly. I've attached a video of the issue on my computer. This problem shouldn't exist on Windows 10. My setup: Windows 11 22H2 (KB4023057), i7-11700K, ASUS TUF B560M Plus, Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3600, 2x16GB RAM, RTX 3060, PSU Corsair RM850W Gold. I have the Blue Yeti Mic ASTRO A50 Gen4 and other peripherals that share this behavior. That's my PC specs.
I'm uploading a report with ID 0024 dated 28/12/2023 UTC.
Details:
- Motherboard: ASUSTeK Placa Base SKU TUF GAMING B560M-PLUS
- BIOS: Version 2001, Manufacturer American Megatrends Inc.
- Processor: Intel i7-11700K (11th Gen)
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 3600
- GPU: RTX 3060
- Power Supply: Corsair RM850W Gold
- Peripherals: Blue Yeti, various audio gear
This issue appears to be specific to my hardware configuration.
Obtain the newest software and firmware updates via Armory Crate or install them directly. Reminder: refresh all components, not just the audio drivers.
It doesn't work properly. The same problem persists despite updates and disabling the headset/mic. Once I restored everything, the issue reappeared. I'm feeling really frustrated with this Windows setup... NVIDIA_Share_4qnQGzjHFK.mp4
The problem seems limited to the headphone input showing and vanishing. Check if front panel input detection is enabled in the Realtek app.
It halted since my microphone was turned off. Yet the input works perfectly. The headset mic functions normally during detection—though I’ve already tried your advice and still nothing happens. It keeps toggling on and off.
It's not foolish, we often overlook the simplest fixes. I reinstalled the ACC and updated the firmware. The problem still exists. It briefly stopped acting strangely, but didn't hold for long.
Have you reset everything after completing your tasks? Make sure Windows isn’t turned off. They’re different when Fast Startup is active.
I also swapped the USB port on the base. Tested 2.0 and 3.0, checked the front panel. The problem remains unresolved.
