I recently assembled a new computer and planned to install Windows 11. The system ran all tests fine—BIOS updated to version 3202, every component listed as compatible in the Windows 11 catalog. I used the Create Tool Windows 11 to place the installer on a USB drive; everything proceeded without issues. However, when attempting to boot, the process stalled: it displayed the Asus logo, then entered startup mode, but the screen turned completely blue and froze. I experimented with various combinations of Secure Boot settings—enabled, disabled, fully off, etc.—but the problem persisted. Sometimes the blue flashing would trigger a restart in a loop. Despite watching numerous guides and forums, no one seemed to address this specific issue on a brand-new machine. The manual instructions didn’t offer clear solutions either. Could you help me resolve this?

You might review this checklist—it assisted with my earlier setup (though I’m not sure if it still applies for non-M.2 storage). Below is the step-by-step guide for installing Windows on an NVMe SSD.

1. Disconnect all SATA and USB devices; ensure only the NVMe drive is connected.
2. Navigate to BIOS settings, locate the CSM option and disable it.
3. Under the Secure Boot section, select another operating system instead of Windows UEFI.
4. In the Key Management area, remove any existing secure boot credentials.
5. Insert a USB drive containing a bootable Windows 10 ISO with UEFI support.
6. Press F10 to save changes, exit, and restart the computer.
7. Windows will begin installation using its built-in NVMe driver.
8. Upon rebooting, press F2 during startup to access BIOS and set boot priority to your NVMe drive.
9. Return to Key Management, set Secure Boot to UEFI mode.
10. In Key Management, install the default secure boot keys.
11. Press F10 again to finalize installation.

Once installed, power off the PC and reconnect any remaining SATA drives.
