Windows 11 prevents signing in due to a corrupted login or account issue.
Hello everyone, today I noticed Windows acting strangely again after a calm moment... it seems it won’t stay peaceful forever. The main point is shown in the attached clip. When I click sign-in, the page loads quickly and returns to the original screen. I should mention that initially, my custom background appeared, but when I first tried to log in, my name showed up as "New user" before the system removed it and replaced it with the default Windows look. At first, the Administrator account was active, auto-signing on startup and during login attempts. I mistakenly turned it off thinking I’d bypass security, but that led to this situation. I’ve tried booting in safe mode, but logging in there isn’t possible. I attempted a forced repair by restarting twice with power held, yet Windows couldn’t locate the Windows Media files, even though my drive was connected everywhere. I tested all drives (front, back, 3.0, 2.0) and nothing worked. I’ve also looked online for solutions but only found standard fixes that rarely succeed. I don’t have any backup points set up either. I’m quite stuck. Anyone have advice on how to proceed? Would it be better to reinstall Windows completely or switch to Linux? I just need my account to function right now. Thanks in advance! 20250306_070518.mp4
You need to verify the installation by accessing the Event Viewer directly, but you can't do it via Safe Mode or without signing in. Try booting into Safe Mode and then using the Event Viewer tool, or look for alternative troubleshooting steps.
It seems there might be an issue with access or permissions. Even though the terminal is running as Administrator, the directory isn’t visible. Check file system rights and consider restarting the service or contacting support.
It began functioning once more after investigating why the Windows folder disappeared. I decided to activate the administrator account from here, ran `net user Administrator /active:yes`, and successfully logged back in. The admin account wasn’t set up initially, but now my account is working properly...? This is really confusing.
