Windows 11 performs less efficiently compared to Windows 10.
As mentioned in the topic, Windows 11 performs slower than Windows 10 when it comes to right-clicking and opening maps or similar tasks. It's not a major difference, but it bothers me. The games still run well on 11, provided they are properly optimized. I own a solid PC, so I don't think that's the main issue, but I can share my components if needed.
In the days of Windows XP, numerous registry modifications could transform a sluggish machine into a fast one. Elements such as the start menu’s loading speed or the responsiveness when hovering over items were controlled by specific registry entries with designated time values. When programs became unresponsive and you used the alt delete key to terminate them, another registry entry indicated how long it would take for the program to close when instructed. Over time, computers reached a point where these efforts seemed unnecessary. Whatever someone considered better in the previous operating system likely had a corresponding fix. Editing your registry isn’t suitable for everyone and comes with risks.
Clean installation, but it isn't as fast as Windows 10...
The apps, browser, and games function properly.
10 performs marginally better than 11 on identical hardware, but the gap remains relatively small enough to justify choosing an operating system with just a few more years of support remaining.
Hello! In my situation, Windows 11 seemed to run more smoothly than 10.
