Hi everyone, I have two quick questions. First, after watching many videos and news about Windows 10 and 11, I’m really unsure which one performs better. Some comparisons show a 2-3% speedup with Windows 11, while others highlight big differences—sometimes much more than Win 10, other times just a bit. I’m confused about the claims around Core Isolation affecting performance; it seems to be both slowing things down and then improving it lately. I’m getting mixed up because of all the conflicting information. To be honest, I don’t have Core Isolation enabled, maybe because my BIOS doesn’t support it. I own a 5700X3D and am torn between sticking with Windows 10 for better gaming performance or trying the latest updates.

Second, I’ve heard about FSR 4 and think it might be similar to PSSR. Some say it needs NPU support because it relies heavily on AI upscaling, but why wouldn’t AMD use it across all their chips? They already have AI instructions in their processors. Plus, PS5 Pro uses RDNA 4 GPUs, which could benefit from FSR 4 if they add more AI cores.

Windows 10 and Windows 11 offer distinct experiences. I favor Windows 11 more, mainly because of its better usability and intuitive approach to tasks. They match in performance, so pick the one that suits your personal style.

I've watched that clip before, but it seems the results change when Core Isolation is off. Not sure if that affects 5700X3D at all.

performance remains quite alike; version 10 has fewer issues, a smoother UI, and feels more polished... regarding FSR, I suggest skipping upscaling and opting for native or downsampling instead. If image quality matters, I avoid upscaling entirely—about 99% of the time it works just fine without the artifacts, blur, or pixelation. But if you need it, make sure your GPU can handle the desired effect; it’s straightforward, not overly complex.
