The only additional thing I’d mention is how Microsoft managed to work around the extensive File Explorer menus. Instead of a clunky interface, it offers a streamlined, modern layout with limited yet essential options. At the bottom, there’s a "Show more options" button that brings back the old, larger menu and its submenus. For shortcuts, you can right-click → Send To → Desktop to create a desktop shortcut. I’m not sure how I feel about merging the main menu into a simpler sub-menu or turning secondary menus into tertiary ones.

I truly wish this gets resolved before launch, but given Microsoft's track record, it's unclear if this will be a genuine feature.

You can gauge the size of early padding by right-clicking the Desktop or similar areas in Finally Explorer. This feature seems to work best on touchscreens, as the spacing varies noticeably between different layouts. Opening the Documents folder reveals a more compact menu that fits 50% more items in just 20% less space.
