I recently set up Windows 11 and noticed that Steam games often take over 50 seconds to load, causing high FPS drops. On Windows 10, they launch in under 5 seconds with stable performance.

I've shared some issues with Win11, but this doesn't match what you're experiencing. Your game load times and performance seem normal. It might be something else causing the problem.

I'd be happy to discuss your system details. What are the specifications you're looking for?

CPU might be having trouble now. It’s probably better to use Windows 10 or switch to a 3700x/5600 second hand.

It seems the CPU struggles to run Windows 11, taking about 50 seconds to load a game. In contrast, Windows 10 performs smoothly, delivering 80+ frames per second. Windows 11 appears to be a different beast altogether—some say it's a buggy, incomplete version. People once loved Vista, but I used it when it first came out and have fond memories. Now it feels like a frustrating experience, and downgrading to Windows 10 isn't an option; I'm stuck with a clean install.

It seems you're trying to convey frustration about the situation and are seeking clarification on the real problem. A few people have offered assistance if you're open to it.

Only 50 seconds? Please respond when you're checking five minutes or more, no matter the OS. Someone mentioned the CPU might be suggesting low RAM speed (under 3200MHz), the drive is outdated, and that’s likely causing the 10-20% speed drop we’ve seen before.

I tried it, the performance is almost identical, but I prefer version 10 since I don’t like its UI and some of its features. The only thing I want is the Linux/second OS compatibility, but maybe it will work in version 12 then?
